Wedding Florist Amsterdam — From Vision to Vows
What Working Together Actually Looks & Feels Like
Wedding flowers are never just flowers to me.
They’re atmosphere. Emotion. The feeling people remember long after the music ends and the candles burn out.
Especially in modern weddings in Amsterdam, couples are looking for something more personal. Less traditional. Less copy-paste. More intentional. More them.
That’s exactly how I approach every wedding as a wedding and event flower designer in Amsterdam — not simply designing flowers, but creating an experience around your story.
The Wedding Flower Design Process
Working together should feel calm, inspiring and personal from the very first conversation to the wedding day itself.
Here’s what that journey looks like.
01 — Intake Call
We start by connecting and understanding your vision.
We talk about your venue, style, colour palette, favourite flowers, no-go’s and budget — but most importantly, how you want the day to feel.
Some couples arrive with detailed moodboards.
Others only know what they don’t want.
Both are perfect starting points.
02 — Moodboard & First Floral Concept
Your wedding atmosphere begins to take shape.
Inspired by fashion, interiors, architecture and your personal story, I create a first floral direction that reflects your aesthetic and emotional vision.
This is where ideas start becoming tangible.
03 — Review & Refine
We refine together.
Through feedback and small adjustments, the concept evolves until everything feels aligned — visually and emotionally.
Often, it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference.
04 — Flower Market Experience
Whenever possible, we meet at the flower market in Amsterdam.
Together we explore seasonal blooms, textures and colours in real life — selecting flowers, ribbons and finishing touches beyond a digital screen.
Before leaving, you take home a small bouquet — a first glimpse of what your wedding flowers will feel like.
05 — Final Floral Concept
All elements come together into one cohesive vision.
Flowers, colour palette, styling details and atmosphere align into a final design plan for your wedding day.
06 — Location Check (Optional)
An optional venue visit ensures every floral element fits naturally within the space and enhances the overall experience of the day.
07 — One Week Before
A final check-in confirms timing, logistics and flower orders.
At this stage, everything is prepared — allowing you to fully relax and look forward to the celebration.

08 — Your wedding day
Early mornings. Buckets of flowers everywhere. Music softly playing while the space transforms.
Candles glowing.
Tables layered with flowers.
Your favourite people arriving.
That quiet moment just before everything begins will always be my favourite.
Because that’s when flowers become more than decoration.
They become atmosphere. Memory. Feeling.
Your vision.
Your style.
Your wedding flowers — exactly as they should feel.
